Did you know, Aperol has been accompanying Aperitivo hours across Italy for more than 100 years? Developed by brothers Luigi and Silvio Barbieri in 1919 in Padua, Italy, the distinctive Aperol taste remains true to the original recipe, developed over a century ago.
It’s signature bright orange colour and unique taste is thanks to an oh-so-secret recipe, which has never been changed and is only known to a handful of people! What we are told, however, is that Aperol is infused with select ingredients including bitter and sweet oranges, rhubarb and gentian, combined with herbs and roots.
