A Moveable Feast invites participants to re-evaluate their own creativity through Rina’s roving residency as she creates artworks live across Subiaco’s venues, with interactive and performative elements.
Rina Freiberg’s wild expressionist faces and vibrant abstracts are a translation of emotion and a playful disassembling of human interaction. Her bold brushwork, hard lines and quirky etchings feature in both her drawing and painting work.
Rina’s current work explores the dynamic feminine and romantic masculine. Rina’s process is anchored in the unplanned. She works at pace, allowing the temperament of the medium at hand to dictate the direction of the work.
Building on her recent residency in Broome, interactive drawing sessions in Perth and creative explorations in Europe, Rina has been exploring a new direction in her practice at the intersection of her love for food and hospitality.

People You Meet in a Wine Bar Live Illustration An exciting opportunity to see Rina live in action adding to one of her current collections. People You Meet in a Wine Bar is a series of characters Rina constantly adds to on her travels. She embellishes these small, quick illustrations with stories displayed in Lums on the night.
Rina will also add her to touch adorning SXSW wine bottles for guests to take home.
