Subi Spritz is approaching pronto and we can’t wait to be celebrating la dolce vita with you. With more than 30 events from 8-17 March, expect ten days and nights of enjoying life’s simple pleasures across some of Subiaco’s best venues and public spaces.
March is the perfect month for alfresco dining, outdoor activities, midday aperitivos, sundown vinos and long table lunches under the sun. Whilst most Subi Spritz events have been designed for adults only, check out the following events that promise to be a whole lot of fun for more than just mum and dad, where the little ones are more than included.
1. Come watch a movie under the stars.
Subi Spritz teams up with the Subi Night Market for one night only, bringing the charming family-friendly movie, “Ferdinand”, to Subiaco’s Market Square Park. Stroll the night market and purchase some dinner from one of the food trucks before finding a spot on the nearby sprawling grass for a movie under the stars.
The animated film depicts the story of Ferdinand; a Spanish bull with a big heart who, after being mistaken for a dangerous beast, is captured and torn from his home. Determined to return to his family, he rallies a misfit team on the ultimate adventure. Check out the movie trailer here.
BYO picnic blanket, beanbag or low-backed chair. This is a free event and suitable for all ages.
Saturday 9 March, 7-9pm. Find out more here.
2. Get creative at a collaborative street mural.
Add your creative flair to Subiaco’s Postal Walk in a group art mural in the form of a floral wall, suited for all ages.
South West artist, Nathan Gardiner, heads to Subiaco to lead a participatory art piece, where guests can contribute to an ever-evolving flower wall depicting the iconic flowers of Europe. Bring your little ones, sit and create your own paper flower, or simply choose a pre-made one to contribute to the mural and be part of the fun!
Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 March, 9-3pm. Find out more here.
3. An exquisite high tea for all aged food connoisseurs.
Indulge in a sumptuous afternoon that transcends borders, featuring bite-sized savoury snacks, exquisite pastries and decadent desserts inspired by the flavours of the European continent. Designed to please both wine and grazing enthusiasts, your high tea includes:
